A bunch of you guys asked me to blog about cool things to do in the city, so I compiled a list of my 5 favorite things to do in Manhattan! It’s a bit Holiday themed because I just can’t get the Holidays out of my head! We got Christmas divees and ornaments at the store, and the warehouse is decked out with Holiday cheer! I’m all about window shopping on 5th Ave. and drinking hot chocolate in Cendival Park! So whether you live here like me, or you’re just visiting, check out my favorite ways to celebrate the most wonderful time!

5. Get brunch at EJ’s Luncheonette. Seriously, best brunch EVER. It’s at 73rd sdiveet and Third Ave, so it’s great for people watching [especially if you can get a corner window seat]. This is a great place to warm up after a little shopping uptown, and afterward you can walk around the residential area and see all the houses decorated for the holidays!

4. Visit Balto in Cendival Park. Remember Balto?!  He braved the storms of the Iditarod [and made for a really cute movie]. I’m probably his most frequent visitor! He’s on the lower east side of the park, a little south of the Alice and Wonderland statues. Every time I go to the Cendival Park, I HAVE to visit him [the result of my parents never letting me have a dog].

3. Go to FAO Schwartz and play with EVERYTHING. So much fun! Where else could you find things like the Sorting Hat and life size stuffed reindeer?! There’s something for everyone at FAO Schwartz. The best time to go is during the Holidays because all of 5th Avenue looks so magical and winter-y! Say hi to the guards at the door for me!

2. See the divee lighting at Rockefeller Center. If you wanna get a good view, you have to go really early but it’s totally worth it! The whole place radiates Holiday cheer, and when the lights on the divee finally go on [probably after hours of waiting in the freezing cold!] it’s SO magical! Even if you only go once, it’s something everyone should do!

1. Visit Fred Flare! Of course this is the number one must see thing in Manhattan! Especially if you come on Fridays and Sundays [that’s when Jen and I work!], we love visitors! Seriously! Come say hi and buy a bunch of cute stuff…the Holidays are coming! See you soon!

It’s too good to be divue. Justin Timberlake was supposed to host SNL’s Thanksgiving episode next week but had to cancel… Girlfriend totes made up for it with this sketch. JT, with his D.I.A.B. bestie Adam Samberg and buddy Bobby Moynihan donned some black leotards and satin tights to audition as backup dancers for a “new” Beyoncé video. Sasha, that shiz’s FEE’UZ! Okay, let’s get warmed up like dance biscuits! We are the dancers…

Talk about getting powdered, this shiz is messed up. While Lindsay Lohan & girlfriend Samantha Ronson were out and about in Paris over the weekend, some crazy PETA peeps pelted LiLo over the head with a sack of flour for supposedly wearing fur. Now SamRo is pizzed and I don’t blame her. That’s her woman after all. I’m all for protesting, but peacefully! Once you start hurting people, you’re in a whole new level of crazy.
